Since the GPS tab on SondeMonitor specifies a com port selection, that seemed the logical path to importing NMEA to Google Earth. I saw this procedure on RTL-SDR a while ago but didn't try it because the real-time GPS input for Google Earth searches for a usb device or NMEA on a com port.
